I am a professor at TU Braunschweig, where I head the Robust Hardware and Software Systems research group.

My Research

My research interests include low-power system design, wireless networks, embedded AI and space electronics. You can find a summary of my research topics and main projects here, or on the BatterylessLab website.

Short Bio

Previously, I was an IPF Postdoctoral Fellow at Universität St.Gallen, working with Prof. Simon Mayer. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in 2018 at ETH Zürich, working under the joint supervision of Prof. Luca Benini and Prof. Lothar Thiele. I received a master’s degree in embedded system design at Alari in Lugano, Switzerland. I also hold a dual bachelor’s degree in electronics and systems engineering, with a double minor in physics and management, all from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. I am originally from New York City.
